Nora Biscuits is an internationally operating company that manufactures an extensive range of biscuits with craftsmanship under both the Nora brand and private labels. Nora has a contemporary, fully automated production process, which bears the IFS quality mark, a recognition we are proud of.

 

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

Quality manager m/f (1 fte)

The quality manager is an important official in maintaining and improving the quality assurance system. With the help of the right procedures and monitoring systems, food safety and product quality are guaranteed. He supervises and directs other employees in monitoring quality, performs quality analyses and oversees the implementation of quality improvements. Information for the purpose of labeling and the preparation of end product specifications for our customers are an important part of the job. The quality manager has frequent consultations with the various departments within Nora and works together with the fellow quality managers.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the management and optimization of the quality systems, such as IFS (Higher level), HACCP, RSPO, Rainforest Alliance, BIO etc.

  • Giving substance to the correct implementation of quality procedures according to international guidelines, supplemented with our own acquired expertise.

  • Responsible for the daily quality management, including monitoring, optimizing, improving and controlling the quality of our products, in such a way that the set specifications are met.

  • Updating, tracking and keeping quality standards up-to-date on the basis of changing laws and regulations.

  • Responsible for proactively addressing quality issues and performing random inspections.
  • Handling complaints in accordance with the complaints procedure. Investigating the nature, extent and possible causes of the complaints. Determining the merits and consulting with internal and external stakeholders about solutions.
  • Managing (test) specifications and recipes, checking packaging and translating specifications into production data and various customer portals.
  • Deploying and managing laboratory analyses at external laboratories.
  • Contracting auditors, pest control and lab.
  • Point of contact and guidance of external relations, such as customers, certification bodies, government agencies, laboratories and suppliers.
  • Coordinating and supervising external and internal audits.
  • Creating support in the workplace and (pro) actively collaborating with colleagues from various functional areas.
  • Reports to fellow quality managers and management.

Requirements:

  • HBO working and thinking level, preferably a completed education in quality management and/or Food industry and/or Biotechnology food industry or similar work experience.
  • Knowledge of IFS and BRC is an advantage.
  • You are a team player with an eye for content and process, punctual and very accurate.
  • Good digital skills are a must.
  • Strong and convincing discussion partner, both internally and externally.
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in the German language is an advantage.
  • Experience in the food industry is preferred.

An educational part-time job with technology and cookies!

Are you looking for a part-time job where you can work with your hands, learn technical skills and get to work in a cozy atmosphere? At Banketbakkerij Nora we provide the tastiest cookies every day. To do this, we need well-functioning machines – and that’s where you come in!

What will you do?

  • Helping with small maintenance jobs in and around production

  • Checking machines and preparing them for maintenance

  • Work with and learn from experienced technicians

  • Contributing to the smooth running of our baker

Who are we looking for?

  • You are still in school (e.g. MBO) and are available on Saturdays
  • You have an interest in technology (experience is not necessary)
  • You are handy, eager to learn and like to roll up your sleeves

Financieel Administratief Medewerk(st)er (32-40 uur)

Als financieel administratief medewerk(st)er ben je verantwoordelijk voor het nauwkeurig en gestructureerd beheren van onze financiële administratie en processen, met een focus op de crediteurenadministratie. Je bent een spin in het web en werkt in een prettig team.

Jouw takenpakket ziet er zo uit:

  • Tijdig en accuraat verwerken van inkomende facturen hieronder begrepen het controleren en boeken van inkoopfacturen al dan niet aan de hand van ontvangen inkooporders. Tevens controleer je de urenverwerking van de uitzendbureaus.
  • Opstellen en verwerken van een betaaladvieslijst.
  • Het boeken van het bankdagboek.
  • Opvolgen en bewaken van de voortgang inzake openstaande posten en aanmaningen.
  • Beheren en onderhouden van het crediteurenbestand en daarnaast ondersteun je bij het optimaliseren van ons nieuwe softwarepakket Exact.
  • Zorgen voor een correcte archivering van financiële documentatie.
  • Het opstellen van materieel vaste activa lijst en diverse rapportages.
  • Het uitvoeren van werkzaamheden ten behoeve van de periodeafsluitingen en ondersteuning bieden aan Hoofd administratie.

Wat verwachten wij:

  • Minimaal een afgeronde MBO- / HBO- opleiding in financiële administratie, Business Administration of vergelijkbaar vakgebied.
  • Uitstekende kennis van boekhoudkundige procedures.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, stressbestendigheid en nauwkeurig.
  • Goede kennis van MS Office.
  • Werktijden in overleg.
  • Kennis van Duitse en Engelse taal is een pre.

Logistiek Coördinator (m/v 1 fte)

Wat kan je verwachten:

Als Logistiek Coördinator bent je verantwoordelijk voor het reilen en zeilen van het magazijn en al haar binnenkomende en uitgaande goederenstromen.

Je coördineert, plant en regelt de diverse logistieke trajecten binnen ons bedrijf inclusief de bijbehorende administratieve afhandeling daarvan. Je coördineert onze co-packaging activiteiten met bijbehorende transportbewegingen. Je onderhoudt contacten met externe vervoerders, klanten en chauffeurs en coördineert de diverse magazijnwerkzaamheden. Ook verricht je voorraadtellingen, draagt zorg voor het palletbeheer en signaleert onvolkomenheden. Je werkt nauw samen met je collega’s van het magazijn en de afdeling Export, Orderverwerking en Productie.

 

In geval van drukte help je mee met het laden en lossen van vrachtauto’s en draag je zorg voor orde en netheid in het magazijn.

Wensen:

  • MBO+ / HBO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur met logistieke ervaring / opleiding.

  • Je beschikt over een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.

  • Communicatief ben je sterk en assertief.

  • Je bent niet bang om de handen uit de mouwen te steken wanneer de situatie hierom vraagt.

  • Je werkt met veel enthousiasme en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
