Impression

History

A little while ago, in 1906, it all started in a little place called Noorbeek. This small town in the south of The Netherlands would be the starting point of Nora Biscuits. It started off as a traditional bakery, selling artisanal pies and breads.

Throughout the years, it maintained to be a family-owned company. Due to the expansion and specialisation into the biscuit market, the bakery moved to a modern industrial factory in Gronsveld in 1961. The development and production of innovate biscuits became a main focus point for the factory.

Private Label became more and more popular in which the company saw great potential. The combination of Private Label options as well as the production of innovate biscuits became the perfect fit. The many years of experience with Private Label development has made the company a specialist on this area.

Due to the national-and international expansion, a brand-new modern factory has been opened in Maastricht in 2015. Maastricht maintains to be a great location for access to Belgium, Germany as well as port of Rotterdam and Antwerp.
